Character History: Brief World Information:The world Krista is from is a lot like earth and it is indeed earth, however, the main difference are Magical Girls exist as do Magicial Boys too, but are a much rarer breed. Magical girls are more born to be as such rather than coming across someone and forming a contract or being chosen to do it.
It's passed from mother to child or if they are a magical boy father to the child. Always the firstborn, any child after is a normal child, so the possibility of being a magical girl/boy.
Magic abilities are also different depending on the person which I will explain a little bit further down, but because of that in Krista's world, a lot of things are more advanced because of those who are magical use their abilities to help the world from scientists to doctors.
Krista's HistoryFrom the age of three, Krista's mother put Krista up for classes for singing, dancing, and acting. It was her mother's dream to become an actress but failed so decided her own daughter's path instead. Krista was perfectly happy and okay with this and she had fun. When she reached the age of six her parents ended up divorcing for reasons Krista didn't understand and she ended up living with her mother full time while only seeing her father at best once or twice a month.
Krista for most of her years was home school and wasn't allowed to do stuff a child normally would without her mothers say so and would only interact with people her own age when it came to filming either television shows and movies that she was a part of. However, during one film shoot, she met a girl called Penelope who would become her best friend and closest confidant and when she hit the age of 18 her teammate.
While girls her age didn't usually find out till 18 about the fact they are magical girls something that was inherited from their mothers and usually the first born only, Krista found out at 16, not by choice but because her mother figured that now was a good time since in her mind Krista was confident in what she wanted to be: a movie star, but deep down Krista had been unsure from time to time.
Because of her being thrown into this new life of well known magical girls she met some quite well-known names: Rochelle, a magical girl who was a CEO of her own company, and Shelley a famous writer of a couple of romance novels that Krista herself had sneakily read herself when she was allowed to stay at friends. They would become people she would consider friends as the years went by.
By the time she was 18, she had two years' experience under her belt of dealing with corruption of various careers from doctors to politicians to even a case of a shop assistant. The cause of all these instances of once nice people turning negative still hadn't been solved, but Krista herself was curious. During that time, however, they were joined by two new recruits who had just learned of their heritage of being magical girls. One just happened to be her best friend, the other was an upcoming model and fashionista named Cindy. Krista found her rather cool and eventually they became good friends. She taught her things her mother usually wouldn't have and Krista was happy about that.
But once they had joined there was a decision to be made. Who was going to be the leader of the new LA team? It was Krista's mother who suggested her own daughter, believing that she would be the best bet and it would be a good experience for the other. Krista was surprised when everyone seemed to agree and thus she was thrown into being a leader.
One of the first jobs as a leader was a deal with a corrupt business owner who was working their workers to exhaustion causing them to collapse. it didn't go exactly to plan due to Krista being inexperienced in leading and making plans and in the end, a few of them ended up hurt. This lead to Krista faking how she felt and instead worked much harder to get it right.
At another incident, after they had dealt with it, Krista managed to spot something that had left the corrupted person and had tried to capture it, but to no avail. She asked the others about it, but no one else knew anything. So when they dropped the person at a special facility that dealt with those who ended up corrupt she asked about what she saw; A black sludge-like substance.
It was explained to her that what she saw was the cause of the corruption and that the ones they have been dealing with had so far been mild, that they worry that the numbers were getting bigger and that they will get even more dangerous so she should keep an eye out.
With her knowing what she did now, Krista started to wonder just where it all came from. Magical girls, whatever it was that wanted to corrupt and spread. She didn't know, but deep down she wanted to find out and she would soon get her chance when dealing with another case. When they managed to detain before they could get them back the substance she had seen had started to leak out. Using that moment she managed to seal it away thanks to her friend's writer's abilities and as a group decided to keep it and try and find another magical girl or boy who could help them since the company they always took the corrupted to still hadn't gotten anywhere with figuring it out themselves even after so many people were handed to them.
It was after this mission that she found out her teammate Rochelle was pregnant and was planning on going through with it. Happy for the other she congratulated them only to discover that when the child would be born Rochelle could no longer be a magical girl due to the power they have passing on to the next generation. It was in this instance that they all decided that they had to find a new magical girl and Penelope knew just the person who they should ask: A girl named Kirsten; a famous popstar.
Character Canon Point: Just after she finds out one of her teammates is pregnant.
Personality: Krista comes across like most celebrities when you see them on television or on a red carpet. Smiling for the cameras, happy and seeming like life is simply perfect. This is what Krista wants people to see. Underneath however is something else completely. A girl who is very good at putting on a mask of someone who has her shit together but the reality is vastly different.
Having had classes for acting, singing, and dancing or anything that involved that scene from a very young age, Krista does have her smarts about her when it concerns these subjects. In fact, she would consider herself a bit of an expert. But if you were to talk to her about things such a relationships is another factor. As she has never been in one before she wouldn't know how to start, but instead would use her acting to good use in order to not let that be known.
Krista has had to learn a lot in life to help her achieved her supposed goals, which are in fact her mothers. Because of this and because of what her mother expects from her is to be perfect, Krista very rarely shows emotions that might make people think she is anything but perfect or a sign of weakness in her mother's eyes. Smiling all the time even when one isn't was the only thing she knew she had to be in order to be perfect. Any other emotion would mean being a disappointment. It doesn't mean to say she never expresses those moments, but she does it in more of a private way if she is alone in her room rather than showing weakness in front of others.
When you first look at Krista though one would think that Kirsta herself is full of confidence and she even plays that well some might say that she can come across as overconfident or bitchy at times. But as you pull back the layers one will find that underneath she is pretty insecure of herself and can become a bit of a perfectionist as well. If something goes wrong she will work hard to fix it, she gains a little weight, she will diet till she's the right weight again. This again steams from her own mother and what her image of a perfect actress is and Krista will do anything to please her because she doesn't know better.
Because of the way she has been raised and being homeschooled, Krista has been a rather lonely person, never really having friends that weren't decided for her and knowing full well they only spoke to her because they benefited her goals in some way. It's the same with her professional life. Krista has no sense of control over anything as her mother decides most things for her. Because of the lack of choices she can make there can be a bit of naivety of certain things depending on what her mother wanted her to know.
Krista can be a leader if and when she has to be. After all, she had been chosen to be a leader by her team. If the chips are down and things are getting tough she knows that she has to shut up and get the job done, plan accordingly, and set up their next move. Because of this, she has started to become much better at being able to strategize and plan accordingly for herself when it comes to her magical girl career.
Out of all the people in her life, Krista has very few people she truly loves. She has her best friend whom she has known since she was a young kid and a fellow magical girl. She is one of two people where she will at times slip up around and show her true colors, her father being the only other person who she can do that with. Her mother while she loves her she keeps the mask on.
She had a belief when dealing with those that have been taken over by whatever it is that causes people to become influenced that they can be helped and in situations when they are fighting, chooses to detain rather than to attack to kill. She is compassionate in trying to understand the situation and believes that people can change,
When you get to know her, people would discover that she is a loyal friend to have simply because those are the friends she has made herself, but that she is underneath the mask that she shows to the world is generally a nice person who deep down, isn't sure about herself and her career and wants to discover herself.
Abilities: Krista's abilities come from who she is as a person. What their career is once they are fully confident in what they want to do (Thus why usually a magical girl starts at the age of 18). If Kirsta should question or change her mind her abilities will change with her but if that were to also happen it could cause her to become unstable and trying to use them would cause problems.
Because they develop and change as Krista discovers herself as a person her abilities will change over time. So below I will put down what all of her abilities are, but I will note which one she currently is at and which will be what she can do in the future.
This section is what she can currently do in her incomplete form:
Lights!: She is able to summon lights in order to stun and distract someone for a short period of time.
Camera!: A camera appears in her hands and is able to capture a person using an ability or an object that can be used at a later date either physically or something that she can wield and use weapon wise. Can store up to three items/abilities and they can only be used once before they vanish.
Action!: She is able to unleash an explosion that can only affect a small area. Anything she doesn't want to get burnt will not be affected while she uses this ability.
MemorizationIt basically means she is able to memorize various things such as scripts, music sheets and things she basically will read. She can remember a large number of things if she thinks they would be important to her. But she does have a limit to the amount she can remember at one time. At best she can remember two things fully. As she grows the amount she can will grow with her. The maximum being five.
This section is what her final form and abilities will be once she is confident in her goals and dreams as well as figuring herself out as a person.
Play the PartKrista is able to take over a role. Does she need the abilities of a swordsman? She can imagine the role in her head and is able to form the outfit, weapon, and abilities based around it. So long as she understands what she needs and can imagine a role that works her abilities can change with the parts.
This can even go as far as 'playing the role' of people she knows if she knows them well enough. However, the downside is she needs to understand certain jobs and abilities to be able to form various forms or get them to actually work.

The smile was going to stay on her face no matter what.]So guess what~ Considering I have never worked any kind of job that wasn't acting, being able to work in a store really is something different. But I managed to do it. Yay me.
[She pretended to cheer happily. It was thought work, but hey she managed somehow.]But it made me wonder...All jobs are kind of stressful, huh? Like when I did a movie or advert or even an episode of this major television show I was always stressed about messing up a line or moving to the wrong spot or even heaven forbid... singing off key. But I never really understood the other stresses of other work places.
I guess that just means I get to learn here, huh? No mother to order me around and more freedom than I am use to... So I shall ask you... What should I do next? I want to be adventerous.
